Ezra’s POV I was born into a fairly religious family, as the only boy. We went to church every Sunday until I left home to go to Uni. I was bought up in a relatively open and loving family and until the day they died, my life was quite simple. As a young boy, my parents had no idea I was gay. That was until my mum caught me looking through teenage girls’ magazines, at the male models. She was shocked, and my Dad was in denial. I was almost certain they thought it was a phase at the time. When I was 16, I sat them down and told them it wasn’t a phase and I didn’t like girls, they both accepted it. They never scolded or judged me. They really didn’t care, as long I was happy and they supported me completely. I did relatively well in school, passed my exams and was excited to go to uni
