CHAPTER 5 – Her Crown

Galadriel’s name became more popular in the University. Not only Ethos become obsessed to date the newly crowned Ms. Ambassadres

s of Goodwill but most of those young gentlemen in the University.

Being popular is not an easy one and this is what Galadriel learned after being crowned as the University’s Ambassadress of Goodwill. Most of the young men in the University wanted to date her while most of the female students envied and hated her.

One of these women who hated her is Kirsy. She lost in the recent search of the University for its Ambassadress of Goodwill. Kirsy believes that Galadriel did not deserve the Crown.

“I only fainted and was not able to ramp with my gown; otherwise Galadriel will not win. It should have been me!” Kirsy said mockingly when Galadriel passed them by in the University corridor. Kirsy’s friends nodded and laughed.

“We bet girl; she can never beat you if you have not fainted.” One of Kirsy’s friends affirmed Kirsy’s conviction.

“Yah right. She is not that beautiful you know.” Kirsy followed Galadriel with her eyes, full of abhorrence.

Thorin who is just nearby acting like reading a book hears everything the group of Kirsy has been conversing. Feeling pity for Galadriel who is being mocked by the ladies without her knowledge; Thorin decided to give Kirsy and her friends a lesson in a funny way.

The young geek man called on the wind through his mind and whispered on it what to do.

Suddenly, Thorin heard the screams of Kirsy’s group. As the wind blew hard directly hitting them, all of the girls’ skirts flew into the air, somersaulting as the wind wiggled it up and down.

The ladies did not know what to do to cover their nakedness, especially Kirsy who is only wearing a thong panty. At least two of Kirsy’s friends are wearing fitted shorts inside their skirts while the other one is a baby polka dot bloomer.

Students scattered everywhere in the school corridor saw what happened to the ladies. They were all shocked but after gaining their senses again, they all burst with laughter.

Kirsy’s group, especially Kirsy, were so embarrassed that they almost wanted to fly or to just disappear at that moment.

Thorin slowly walked- away from the scene, with an unfathomable expression on his face. He is going now to the assigned room for his next subject.

II

Outside the classroom of Galadriel, Ethos has been there for a couple of minutes already, guarding and waiting.

Galadriel’s female classmates are giggling at having the hot Captain of their soccer football team, standing just outside of their classroom while Galadriel is already getting pissed off.

Immediately, as the bell rings for the class dismissal, Galadriel skirted fast out of their classroom without even looking at Ethos, who follows her and tries to speak with her.

“Galadriel wait, can we at least talk please?” Ethos pleaded as he continued to follow the newly crowned Ambassadress of Goodwill of their University.

“I’m sorry Ethos; I need to go home early as I need to finish something; maybe some other time.” Galadriel countered while walking fast continuously.

“Alright, you said so Galadriel; I will be hoping for next time then.” Ethos smiled and stopped following Galadriel. At least he was given a chance for the next time and that would be enough for him right now rather than being turned totally down right away.

Galadriel just quickly glanced at Ethos then moved ahead without looking back.

Thorin who witnessed the rejection of Galadriel to Ethos somehow felt a little pain. She gave Ethos another chance while she had rejected him right away without giving him any chance at all.

It was Thorin’s time to follow Galadriel. Anyhow, it will not be obvious that he is following her. They have the same way of going home. Their dorms are standing side-by-side. Thorin smiled. He has an advantage after all.

Also following Thorin are the group of vampire lads from their University. These are the vampires who noticed Thorin as easy prey. They will try to snatch Thorin like a flash before he will reach his room inside the dormitory, then they will bring him inside the room of their co-vampire, who happened to be Thorin’s dorm mate. Their plans are clean and they are now excited to taste his blood.

“Galadriel, Thorin is in danger.” Alesha, Gladriel’s wolf murmured with fear in her tone. Alesha smelt the vampires nearby and heard a snippet of their conversation. That is how strong her senses are.

“What do you mean Alesha?” Galadriel did not know why but she could not help to be worried about Thorin.

“Those four vampires following him, I heard them planning to suck later Thorin’s blood. Thorin might be dead by midnight.” Alesha whimpered as if she wanted to come out of Galadriel’s body.

Galadriel abruptly looked back and she saw Thorin following her by and another four male vampires at his back. Thorin seemed to be unaware of the danger he is in at the moment. She stopped walking then walked back.

“Thorin.” Galadriel called to Thorin’s surprise and the vampire boys at the back.

Thorin looked at Galadriel with questions in his eyes. He wanted to smile but he controlled himself. He does not want Galadriel to know how happy he is that she noticed him. “Yes, Miss?” he replied.

“Come with me; let us have some coffee in the nearby cafeteria. I can smell some danger at your back. ” Galadriel said aloud. She wanted the vampire gals to hear what he said.

True enough, the vampires heard her and looked at each other surprised. They are somewhat stupefied how on earth this woman was able to read their minds and know their plans against Thorin.

Thorin’s forehead creased as he looked at Galadriel inquisitively. Galadriel did not reply, instead, she grabbed Thorin’s right arm and looked at him sternly. “Just follow me,” she said.

Thorin’s heart swelled with happiness as he gave the vampires following him with his squinting look.
