In his room, Thorin could not sleep. What happened in the forest a while ago was like a movie that kept on flashing in his mind. How come Galadriel turned into a white wolf? Who is Galadriel? He was surprised although not afraid at all. Whoever Galadriel is, it would not change what he felt for her. Anyhow, each of them has their own secrets to keep.
What bothers Thorin more was the fact that Galadriel saw him jumped-off the tree after he helped her but seems to never even bother to look back again and ask him what he was doing there at the forest at that time. He is sure that Galadriel would not even consider in her mind the thought that it was him who helped her in the forest, because for her, he is a weakling. This thought hurt Thorin most.
