Cody POV After a good run in the woods, Jared and I were both feeling calmer. I felt bad about not being up front with my mom about skipping school. I just didn't want her worrying about me. I knew that she would understand why I skipped, and why I didn't tell her, but that would have to wait until later. By the time I finished my run, it was time for school to be out.
