"Have you told your mate about this?" Stephan asked as he handed a sealed red envelope to Ethan
"Not yet" he replied, placing the envelope in the bag he was holding.
"Why?" Stephan asked and continued immediately "Doesn't that count as a betrayal?"
This made Ethan pause for a moment and after a while he replied "I don't know how to begin, when I began my search, I never th9ught she would be in the middle of it all."
"You both have the same enemy now, so it's okay to tell her" Stephan assured
"She already has a lot on her plate, I don't like to add to her burden"
"No mate is a burden, I'm sure you two were paired for a reason." Stephan pushed slightly, almost losing his cool with the Lycan before him.
