Introduction
SASHA'S POV
Fear gripped me so tightly, that I couldn’t scream. Hell, I could barely breathe with that thing approaching me.
I usually dream of a big grey wolf with sparkling blue eyes who stays beside me. I know it is a wolf with its long tail and soft furry face. That wolf was friendly.
This one, a gaunt creature that approaches me with its glowing red eyes and sharp fangs? This one can hurt me.
This must be a nightmare. I'm sure this is a nightmare. That explains it. Because if not, then what else could it be?
"You're not real, this is just a nightmare," I muttered under my breath. "Sasha, wake up. Wake up! Ouch!" And I have to slap myself to wake myself up. This is not real! I tried looking at it and that creature is still staring at me, mocking me, as if it understands me.
"I'm still dreaming," I said, my tone unsure, trying to convince myself. Even though slapping myself and pinching my arms hurts, I still don't want to believe that this is happening. I turn my head, refusing to stare at it. The monster glided toward me with such grace.
It used his muzzle to poke my abdomen and I realize I am naked. I am naked. Inside the forest. At night.
What the hell am I doing here? What happened last night?
I tried not to move or even breathe, the fear of it biting and shredding me into pieces still scares the s**t out of me. Shall I play dead? Maybe if it realizes that I'm a slice of dead meat, it losses interest, and leaves?
I look around and saw that it is impossible to escape. I am surrounded by half a dozen more like it. I still don't know what they are. Dogs? Possible. But I've never seen anything this big before.
Wolf? But there are no wolf sightings in this place. At least nothing that I heard of.
Like something that came out of a horror movie, it leaned down and put its nose on my neck, smelling me. I stopped breathing when it licked my pulse and for a minute I thought this is the end of me. I'm gonna die, eaten by a pack of rabid dogs inside the forest. I am an orphan, with no family, no friends, and no boyfriend since last week. No one will look for me, no one will come after me after they found out that I am missing. People will forget about me. Vanished in thin air.
'Naaamoy kong natatakot ka sa akin, mahal ko.' (I can smell your fear, why are you afraid of me, my love?)
Okay, that's it! I am really dreaming! There is no way this dog speaks to me! I mean how? Telepathically? How can a dog speak and how the hell can I understand it? It was a language I've never heard before!
'Huwag kang mag alala, hindi kita sasaktan.' (Don't worry, I won't hurt you.' And then the dog stared at me before bowing its head. It sniffed my naked chest before licking my abdomen, raising bumps on my skin and tightening my n*****s in fear.
I gulp, twice, thrice, saving some of my energy enough so I can scream, hoping someone hears me and saves me before it's too late. I don't wanna die just yet, I'm still a virgin! Not my fault though. Okay, maybe it was my fault but hey, it's a good thing I didn't give up my v-card for that good for nothing, sorry ass excuse for a human.
And how can I not worry? We are inside a cave and I'm being surrounded by a lot of his kind. The air smells like decay and a putrid stench and it is making it harder for me to breathe.
I don't want to know what kind of things are lurking inside. I am more concerned about my safety and how can I escape this awful place. There were moans and cries from the darker side of the cave that I cannot see and I like to keep it that way. Not knowing what is happening around me even though it also makes me shiver. Will I sound like that... like them once he's done with me?
The monster halted in front of me that I need to clench my eyes shut as I tried so hard to pretend that he did not exist. A wish. Even though a part of me already knew that it was not.
Fingertips with long claws grasped my chin in a painful grip, digging into my skin. I whimper.
'Buksan mo ang mga mata mo, tumingin ka sa akin.' (Open your eyes and look at me.) The whispered words I heard as clear as the day clung to my skin. And like a lullaby, it's pulling me, urging me to open my eyes.
"Now." The force of his command invaded me, touched my mind, and even though I didn't mean it, I still opened my eyes. Up close, I could see every detail, from his shiny black hair with a hint of silver streaks, to his face lined with age. But it was his eyes that scared me the most. It is red. And scary. Pure Evil. Like something that came out of a nightmare.
"You can keep on telling yourself that I am not real but I am, in fact, very real." And I almost pass out as his bones start to crackle and he started shifting in front of me. From being a big dog--er wolf, he turned into a human, a very naked human. A male species with a handsome face and an impressive girth. Everything about him is actually impressive. If only he talked to me in this male form, his male form, Maybe we already resolved this issue beforehand.
"W-what are you?" I said, gulping. The fear I am feeling earlier is still there, but I think its slowly going away.
"I am a wolf, an alpha. An most importantly, I am going to be your husband."
