Maddox's POV
I smile at Ophelia as she excitedly tells me about her day. She says Zelda and Ophelia fought for something I don't remember, and I wonder what made her think that I would be interested in knowing all this. But I don’t say anything. I should listen until she accidentally says something. So that’s what I do.
I smile and nod anyway. I just observe her demeanor. I know there is something Ophelia is hiding. I should just figure out what that is.
"How is Zelda?" I find myself asking her.
I don't know what it is. But I still feel attracted towards Zelda. It's like Ajax and I started the imprinting process already so it is making it hard for both of us. I want to know if she feels the same way I am feeling right now. Only if things were easy.
