Giovanni and I were playing video games when his phone rang. He decided to ignore it first when it kept on ringing, again and again, he looked at the caller ID.
"It's mom," he said and instantly received the call " Mom...are you okay? Why are you crying.... Dad? What happened to dad?" he asked and I became attentive and scared at the same time " Shot? He is shot?..." I heard him talk a little more " We are...coming...Don't worry... we are coming." he ended the call and looked at me with tears in his eyes.
" Heaven...Heaven, we need to go. Dad is in the hospital. Mom is crying and saying his condition is critical," Giovani said with a trembling voice.
" Let's go." I said getting up from the couch " I will drive because you are in no state to drive."
