Andy and Anya

1098 Words
Anand Gore (Andy) Andy received a call early in the morning. His best friend Mia was crying hysterically. “Babe! What happened? Why are you crying?” “He tried to r**e me,” she managed to splutter through her sobs. “What the f**k? Who? Where are you?” She was his best friend. They were together in junior college. After 12th grade, Mia had decided to become an Ayurvedic doctor while he had taken up Engineering in the Information Technology (IT) field. “I don’t know. It is some road near Sushant’s house,” she said. “The bastard did this to you?” “Yes” Andy cursed, “Babe, listen! Are you in a safe space? Is he following you?” “No. I broke a vase on his head. He is knocked out.” “That’s my girl! Now walk towards the police station. I am on my way.” He rode his Royal Enfield motorbike like a maniac and covered a distance of 30 mins in 10.  Mia was still sobbing when he found her. She hadn’t walked but had sat down on the footpath. Her curly hair was all messed up, her eyes red and swollen and she was shaking with fear. With angry bruises all over her body, she looked broken and vulnerable. He parked the bike by the side of the road and hugged her. She burst out crying again, “Ssh babes. You are alright. Let’s go to the police station.” He hailed an auto-rickshaw (tuk-tuk). It would have been impossible and dangerous to take Mia anywhere on the bike in that state. At the police station, there were very few cops. A male cop came up to them and asked, “What happened?” “We want to report a crime,” Andy said. The cop looked at Mia’s condition and asked them to follow him. They entered a small cabin that had space for only a table and 3 chairs. There was hardly any room for people to move around the desk. A woman cop sat on a chair facing the door.  The table in front of her was stacked with files. The cop had beautiful grey eyes and shapely rounded eyebrows. Her hair was neatly tied in a bun. She did not wear any lipstick or earrings but had soft, pretty features.  They had disturbed her while she was having her brekkie but she kept the half-eaten bun aside and asked them to sit. He felt a twinge of guilt seeing the cop give up on her meal. It wasn’t very wholesome either. He loved cooking and feeding so this according to him was the ultimate sacrifice. When Mia had started crying again the cop had gotten up to comfort Mia. Her thin, tall frame supported an impressive figure with the most shapely ass he had ever seen.  She was wearing a well-fitted uniform and he could not help notice the rounded swell of her butt cheek as she perched on the corner of the table, facing Mia.  All his thoughts were out of the door as he stared at her. It took some time for him to realise that the cop had asked him something. Mia and the cop were looking at him waiting for an answer, “I am sorry, what?” “Do you have some mental issues?” the cop asked, irritation clearly visible in her grey eyes.  What am I doing? I am here with my best friend. And instead of filing her complaint, I am lusting after the cop who is going to handle her case. “No. Sorry, I didn’t hear your question…” he looked at the badge on her chest, mentally appreciating the swell of her breast, “Miss Anya Mithra” She looked annoyed, “PSI” “Excuse me.” He smirked, amused by her irritation. “PSI Anya Mithra” “Okay, Anya Madam. Sorry I didn’t hear your question. I was distracted.” He looked straight into her eyes.  He was making her uncomfortable and the thought sent a jolt of happiness through his mind. His body responded with a movement in his groin. He thanked God that he was sitting and the stirring in his groin was not a giveaway.  He did not want to be beaten into a pulp at the police station. His mind conjured up possibilities of getting beaten by Anya but he squashed the thought before he ended up doing something stupid. “What were you doing when Mia called you?” Oh yes, Mia’s case! How can I forget? That bas*tard Sushant! Controlling his angry thoughts, he said, “It was 7.30 am and I was sleeping when my phone rang.” She turned to Mia, “what time did you go over to your boyfriend's place?” “6 am,” Mia said quietly.  “Babes! Are you a nutcase? Why did you f*****g go to the bas*tard’s place at that time?” Andy was angry at Mia. Anya glared at him, “stop bullying and let her talk.” What’s wrong with the woman? She appears so uptight, he thought. Again his mind went into overdrive thinking about possibilities of loosening her up.  Mia continued, “he said we could go for a morning walk and talk about our relationship. I went to tell him that things were over between us.” Anya was writing everything down, “Mia, are you comfortable speaking in front of Mr Anand?” “You can call me Andy,” he interjected. Mia said, “yes!” Ignoring Andy, Anya said, “okay. Tell me the entire story, even any history which would be connected to this. Everything that I can use to put the bastard behind bars.” Mia narrated her and Sushant’s story with all the details that she could manage between her sobs. His cheating, her deciding to break up with him and finally making the stupid decision of still trusting him and going over to his place for a talk so early in the morning.  “I did not know that he would be pissed drunk so early in the morning. In fact, now that I think of it, he must have been drinking all night!” Anya said, “that should be good enough. You would need to get your medical examination done and I promise you the mother*fucker would be behind bars by that time.” ***** A/N Hope you like where Andy's thoughts are heading ;-) Happy reading.
