CHAPTER 7 “Are we ready to go?” Mykal stood in the center of the main floor inside the library. He eyed the back hall. Although he was not comfortable leaving his mother while she was ill, he knew speaking to the queens was important. Geneva walked past Mykal and Blodwyn. She headed toward the front entrance. “Geneva,” Mykal said. She stopped, and looked back. He waved her over. “I think you’re going to like this.” She cast one last look at the doors and sighed as she walked toward them. Mykal enjoyed holding back his surprise. “Take my hand,” he said.
