Czerie Grieco entrusts the twin lycan princes, Alistair and Alejandro de Carteret, known as the Twin Garnets, believing their matchmaking prowess is the key to eternal love. Firmly convinced by the claims, their matchmaking skills lead her to Prince Alfonso, who happens to be their cousin. However, her feelings transform into deep resentment as she faces rejection from her mate, only to discover that she has become a subject of ridicule among those around her.

Czerie's fortunes take an unexpected turn when the Moon Goddess grants her a unique opportunity when she becomes the mate of the twin princes, while they, in turn, become her second-chance mates. This newfound bond offers Czerie the perfect chance to enact vengeance upon the princes, ensuring they experience the same anguish she once endured.

But will her desire for revenge consume her, or will she find it in her heart to forgive them and open up to them once again? And will Czerie opt for a single prince, or will she choose to embrace them all?

Twin Garnets
Prologue The campus was filled with shrilling voices and shrieks as the 19-year-old twin lycan princes, Alistair Kenneth and Alejandro Kingsley de Carteret, the 3rd and 4th sons of Grand Alpha King Apollo and Mother Luna Queen Adeline, who looked exactly like each other, sauntered to the nearest building for their next class. With brilliant smiles like amber, a translucent gem that glimmered in the color of the sun, and forest green eyes that ascertained the luscious fresh leaves of a spring tree as they made their way down the hall, their friendly demeanor was contagious, and everyone around them seemed to be in a better mood. In our Sowinski Kingdom, they were besmirched as the Twin Garnets because they were notorious for their matchmaking schemes and obsession with guessing people's potential mates. Their love for the game was so great that they even wagered on it, and if one of them guessed correctly, they would cause a bit of chaos for their amusement. "I hope His Highnesses could be able to matchmake me with my mate! I haven't found him yet..." I couldn't help chuckling at Lady Ivory's squealing statement. It was really amusing that I also felt the same way as she did, wanting to find my mate already. "I feel the same way, Lady Ivory." I smiled before focusing on the book I was studying, which was all about the history of our kingdom. "Some of our peers are teasing us as spinsters, Lady Czerie... We're freaking 21... And we haven't met our mates yet!" She clung to my arm, feeling hopeless. "Perhaps, my mate is not here in this academy..." I gently patted her head, not ruining her hair pulled into a marcel wave. "Perhaps, this is not the right time for us." "Or there will be no time. Perhaps, we are not destined to have one..." I shrugged it off by cackling one more time before urging her to go to our next class. Her words were etched in my head. I did not want to enthrall them, but it was too late now since the whole day of staying in the royal academy hadn't saved me from the depths of the abyss. I contemplated alone in the vast ground field in the middle of the afternoon. "Damn... How come meeting a mate did not bother me beforehand?" I asked myself as I lay on the freshly cut grass, smelling a pleasantly sweet, sharp scent. Perhaps, it did not bother me since I was busy proving my worth to Alpha Orlando. All of the chosen pack members would be granted to study in the royal academy under the royal scholarship provided by the royal lycan family. The sky was basked with blue color down to its orange ones, pleasingly blessing me with the thoughts that started to engrave in my mind. My hand reached for the sky like clouds grazing my fingertips. I wondered how I would meet my mate... Or I hoped Lady Ivory's words wouldn't come true. My peers from my pack, Silver Growl pack, had already found their mates. The Twin Garnet's mischievousness had paired some of them. Only a few, including me, hadn't found our mates yet. As I made my way towards my dormitory, I couldn't help but furrow my brow at the sight of the two Highnesses emerging from the Department of Political Science building. They appeared to be engrossed in a lively conversation, laughing merrily. My heart raged wildly, wanting to take a step to ask them if they could perform their mischievousness on me. I checked my surroundings since no one was already paying attention to them and was striding their way back to their dormitories. I took a deep breath, feeling the tension release from my chest. "Greetings, His Highnesses, Prince Alistair Kenneth de Carteret, 3rd Prince of Moonsummer, and Prince Alejandro Kingsley de Carteret, 4th Prince of Sunfall," I greeted them, curtsying before them. The twin lycan princes halted from walking. They even slightly tilted their heads together as if they were just one person. "Greetings..." they paused, arching their eyebrow. "I am Czerie Grieco, Your Highnesses," I replied since I had already noticed they wanted to know my name. Their eyes met, silently communicating their confusion as they looked at me. I knew they didn't recognize me, which wasn't surprising since I was relatively unknown in the royal academy. I was only Omega and an ordinary student studying here for the sake of our pack. Yet, despite this, they still smiled and displayed their courteousness by bowing their heads in my direction, leaving me flustered and caught off guard by their unexpected gesture. "Greetings, Lady Grieco," they said in unison again. "To what do we owe the pleasure, my lady?" one of them asked, which I assumed was Prince Alejandro based on the mole he had near the corner of his left eye. The twin lycan princes could easily be identified by their distinct features. One had a mole near his right eye, while the other was on the opposite side. With his question, I clutched my skirt, mustering up some courage since this would be the first time I would speak to them. I must tell my purpose even though this was so sudden, and I would certainly regret it later. "I have a favor to ask, Your Highnesses." "Hmm?" They both blinked. "As long as it is in our arm's length..." As I set my gaze upon them, my heart quickened, and my breath caught in my throat. Their features were so striking and impeccable that I couldn't help but be in awe of their natural charm and attractiveness. I clasped my hands, feeling them getting sweating profusely before I gulped. "Um... I am already 21 and haven't found my mate yet." When they exchanged glances, it looked like they already understood what I was about to ask. "I implore your expertise as the Twin Garnets, Your Highnesses." I had to close my eyes since it would feel like I would have wanted to be buried six feet below the ground if I dared to meet their gazes. This courage I was emerging at this moment would certainly put me in place later. "Eh? That is no fun at all." My stomach somersaulted upon hearing their dejected tone as I looked up to meet their forest-green orbs. "Huh?" I could feel the debris of a dilapidated establishment crushed me at their words, feeling thousands of arrows penetrating my heart. "M-May you please elaborate, Your Highnesses?" Did they see that I could never have a mate? Was that it? Their lips quirked up slightly, but the way their eyes glinted made me wonder if they found me sympathetic or were perhaps looking down on me. "We just reckon your request is no fun at all. That is not how we work." They chuckled before clearing their throats when they saw that I did not react. "We do not accept requests because that kind of fun is not what we seek, my lady," Prince Alistair explained with his eyes glimmering with mischievousness before turning his back to go in the opposite direction. Prince Alejandro bowed like a true gentleman. "Well, we cannot help you at all. Our apologies, my lady." As I watched them depart, my shoulders drooped with disappointment. Suddenly, they both turned their heads towards me and shared a secret smile before laughing as if on cue that I should have regretted approaching them. Not only that, I was late to realize that witnesses had seen and heard me about my foolishness.
