~ Third Person's POV ~ “Your brother never let other she-wolves get closer to him. So, why is he particularly interested in that so-called fiancé of yours, Seth? Look at the way he is holding her closer to him. It's not just me, even the others are shocked to see someone like Damon dancing on the dance-floor.” Leah was doing everything to instigate Seth against Trinity. She was aware how much he loathed to be in a relationship with someone like the charity case of Rosewood High. Everyone in the club was aware that someone like Damon never indulges himself with others who have no value. Being at the top doesn't even excite him anymore. So, he loves to find new targets to entertain himself. “That girl must have seduced my brother with those doleful eyes of hers. My father must have lost his mind when he chose someone like her as my mate. Even though it's going to be a marriage of convenience, I don't want someone lowly like her. I thought that if I pushed her away when the others were bullying her, she would end our relationship, but that girl, she is quite a stubborn one. She must be dancing with my brother in the hope that I will look at her.” Seth was convinced that Trinity is certainly doing all of this, so she could gain his attention. He was not ready to accept that she might have lost her interest in him. Instead, he believed that she was behaving rudely towards him for the last couple of days just because she wanted him to look at her. Seth wrapped his arms around Leah's waist, but his gaze was still fixated on Trinity. He was waiting for her to gaze at him with her gray eyes, but to his dismay, her focus was completely on his eldest brother. Their bodies were moving in sync. Everyone was aware that Trinity had never learned such things, and she was barely even treated as a normal person in her pack, but seeing her moments made everyone question themselves. They never expected her movements to be so graceful. “Aren't you looking at that girl a little too much? Does she look more beautiful than me, baby? I believed that I held a special place in your heart, but I guess I was wrong. Even though Trinity is useless… how could I compare myself with the daughter of an alpha, right?” Leah gazed at the floor while her eyes were filled with tears. Seth immediately wiped away her tears with his fingers while he pulled her closer to him. He then leaned closer to her. There were many who were whispering about them in hushed voices, but there was not even a single person who was able to confront him for behavior in such a way in front of his would-be mate. He was about to press her lips against his, but he felt a sharp pain in his head. His wolf was losing his reasoning and Seth was not able to calm him down. “What happened to you, Seth? Should I call the pack doctor? This is all happening to us because of that wretched girl.” Leah sounded worried about him, but when she placed her hand on his face, Seth immediately pushed her down on the floor. "Shut up!" He growled at her. When he realized what he had done, he gasped in shock. When he saw that he had ended up hurting Leah, he started to question himself. The others were openly laughing at Leah, but Seth didn't stop them as he didn't have a reason to protect her from others. There were a lot of things that he found nothing but absurd. The mate, bond and sharing of emotions with each other were also one of those things. Trinity turned to look at the ruckus that Seth had created, but she ignored him. That was the first for Seth. There is definitely something changed about Trinity after the summer break. He could not point it out, but now she seemed to be like a soulless person. Leah clenched her fists when she saw that Seth was not even trying to help her out to stand straight. There was someone who had forwarded his hands, and when she looked up, she found that Asher was the one who came to her rescue. She took his hand, and when she got up from the floor, Asher even helped her to fix her dress. Leah was quite taken aback by his actions. She believed that Asher was an aloof guy, and he always tried to avoid any dangerous situation. He was known for his calmness among the famous four. “If you don't want to face difficulty, then I suggest not doing something stupid, Leah. You could never take her place, so why don't you try to accept the truth? It might hurt you in the beginning, but at least you will not lose your precious life.” Asher tried to warn her about her gleaming future, but she didn't take his words seriously. She removed his grasp from her wrist and her body started to tremble when her eyes met with his. Leah gazed at her wrist, and it was now covered with his finger impression. She was not in pain, but she was not able to understand his reason for warning her in such a way. She turned to take her leave, as when she glanced at Seth, he was still busy looking at the back of Trinity. Leah smirked when she gazed at the watch. She looked here and there, but when she didn't find the person whom she was trying to search for, she left the club through the backdoor. Asher sighed when he saw her leaving the club. “You were quite harsh towards Leah, Brother. I never saw you talking with other she-wolves in such a tone. Don't tell me that you have truly started to care about that girl? Did you forget that our brother's suffering because of her? How could you betray him over such a girl?” Kai was getting annoyed as he was not able to understand the actions of his brothers. Damon, who never really cares about anyone worthless, is dancing with a girl who was treated worse than an omega in her own pack. Seth, who normally ignored Trinity's existence, could not help but look at her. Asher, who is known for being a calm person, was losing his cool because he has started to get worried about Trinity. As for Kai, he would usually find new ways to bully her, but for the last few days, he could not stand the mere thought of seeing her getting hurt. “I didn't know you were such a great dancer, sweetheart. I believed that you never received such education in your pack, but maybe I was wrong about you. Frankly, I never enjoyed dancing with other she-wolves. Their mere scent repulses me, but you… you do make a fine partner. How should I say this? Umm, the more I try to solve you, the more you start to confuse me.” Damon whispered to her in a deep husky voice and when he placed his hand on her exposed shoulder, he saw her whole body covered in goosebumps. The word partner did make Trinity frown, but she didn't say anything to him. Damon could not help but notice her rosy cheeks and plump lips. When he unknowingly ran his thumb over her lower lips, he stopped thinking about everything. When Trinity’s gray eyes widened in surprise, he could not help but feel quite attracted to her. He gulped down hard when he found that they were only an inch apart from each other. “What sort of game are you trying to play with me? Is this your new way to humiliate me? Well, I am in no mood to entertain you, so why don't you try to find a different partner.” Trinity glared at them, and before he could claim her lips in front of other guests, she removed his hands, and without saying anything to anyone, she rushed outside the club without even looking back. Damon clenched his fists when he gazed at her back. “You could have strangled her to death for refusing you, so why did you show her such mercy, brother? "Aren't you getting a little too interested in my fiancé?” Seth walked towards Damon whilst he offered him the glass of red wine. Damon gulped down the wine. He clenched the glass and the shards of glass fell on the floor. His hands were bleeding, but the bleeding stopped immediately when he licked his hand with a dead look in his eyes. “I have also never seen you smiling at other she-wolves. You are behaving quite strangely.” Kai complained and Asher was the only one who didn't question his eldest brother. “Am I?” He gazed at his brothers with a smirk on his face, and they tried to avoid his gaze as being the eldest, his powers were a little different from his brothers. Suddenly, they heard a loud voice coming from outside, but they lost their reasoning when they heard a familiar voice, “Stop! No! Please stop!” Their whole bodies froze at the spot when they rushed outside the club. When they witnessed what was going outside... they could no longer think straight. Their wolves were acting strangely, but that was no longer important to them.
