~ Harmony's POV ~ There was no moon in the sky, and the forest was such a peaceful place that I didn't want to go to that packhouse. They are all people without any sense. They could not see or even smell the scent properly. I rubbed my shoulders as it was getting quite chilly here. That pack should rightfully belong to my mother, but grandfather gave the authority to my useless father. It was a good thing that before passing away he made a will, and because of that my dear father failed to officially make Helena his Luna. Am I getting bullied because they all think that I am worse than an omega? I could not find any other reason. For the last month they have been continuously beating me, locking me inside a storeroom and washrooms. They tried different methods to make me kneel down. They wanted to make me bow my head in front of them. Bullying an Alpha's daughter must have given them a sense of superiority. Today is Thursday. My eighteenth birthday will be on Saturday. There is nobody here who will remember that day. Well, I don't have good memories of that day. I was heading towards the packhouse when suddenly someone pounced on me from behind. He was hovering over me and rubbing his lower body against mine. “Why are you feeling embarrassed, huh? I thought that you wanted protection from your bullies. Those bastards! How dare they mess up your beautiful face.” The man with black eyes and brown hair sounded quite disheartened when he looked at my bruised face. He seemed to be in his late twenties. He opened the buttons of my shirt and moved his hand under my shirt, but before he could touch my chest, I grabbed his hand and pushed him away with all my strength. I ran my fingers through my hair whilst I got up from the ground. I sighed when I closed my buttons. The man seemed to be confused, and he started to laugh when he saw that I was glaring at him. “Have you lost your mind, love? You f*****g b***h how dare you to forget your place! I will not let you give your examinations. No, I will simply fail you. There is nobody who cares about you anyway. Why are you acting so weirdly? You would have pleaded with me by now.” The man snapped at me. He dashed towards me. He was grabbing my throat, and when he didn't get to see my desired expressions, he started to tremble in anger. Oh, I remember him. He is one of the professors who constantly asks me to see him after class, but I was so busy for the last few days that I completely forgot about him. Even the professors at this academy are pathetic. What sort of bullshit were you bearing all alone, Trinity? “You think that this will be enough to scare me. Oh, boy, you don't even know a thing about me. As a professor you should have helped me out when I pleaded to you, but instead of helping me out, you planned to use my situation, huh? You are nothing, but a disgrace.” I asserted to him coldly. I could tell that he was pissed, and he was ready to strangle me to death. Before I could do anything, I heard a loud growl. The man immediately removed his hand from my neck. He looked around him. His eyes widened when his eyes met with the golden ones. His face became completely pale. The man gulped down hard and fear was something that was written all over his face. “It's a rogue. No, I have no plan to die today. I am not going to die. It's all her fault.” He mumbled under his breath. He was thinking about something hard. The rogue werewolf had black fur and golden eyes. The professor, after smirking at me, pushed me in front of the werewolf while he planned to escape. “You should sacrifice your useless life to save others. You do know that I have looked after you for so long, right? Now, it's time for you to pay me back.” The guy said to me while he continued to find a way to get out of here. The werewolf, instead of attacking me, pounced on the professor while he started to shred him to pieces with his sharp claws. This man is so stupid that he does deserve to die. “Why… Why me?” The professor continued to ask the werewolf, but he got no response from him. The claws of that werewolf were covered in blood. The dead body of the professor was lying on the cold ground. Well, people like him don't deserve to live, so I am not dissatisfied with this outcome. If he didn't die today, then he might have tried to use the same antics on some other she-wolf. I walked towards the werewolf, but before I could ask him anything, he rushed into the woods. I heard some familiar footsteps. “There is a rogue there. We need to help out Trinity.” I heard Bella's voice, and she was not alone. I thought that they had already left the academy, so what are they doing here? Oh, I don't have enough strength to deal with the famous four. What would I do if they asked me what the professor was doing with me in the middle of the forest, and why were we together at such a time? How am I going to explain myself? Are they going to believe my words if I tell them the truth? “What… What's happening here, Rin? Why is the dead body of the professor lying here?” Bella was stunned. She was not able to move her body. Her eyes were fixated on that corpse. Leah was also with them. Is she the daughter of someone prominent in their pack? Why does she always stick with those four? No, how does it matter to me? She could stay with them, or even sleep with them… how does that have anything to do with me? There is no way that I could find a fated mate for myself in this life. I am not even looking for one. “It must be the rogues. Tsk, why did they leave her? They should have finished her off with the professor. At least we would be spared seeing her pathetic face in the academy.” Leah sprayed the perfume all over herself. How could anyone bear that rose fragrance? “Why were you with the professor, Trinity?” Seth asked. He was clenching his fists and he seemed to be angry for some reason. Is this guy out of his mind or what? Why is he acting all jealous? “Umm, I believe it's none of your business. Why should I answer you? Remember… We are not that close to each other, right? When we meet outside the academy, try to act like we don't know each other, alright?” I snapped back at him. Damon sneered while Asher and Kai tried their best to hold their laugh. Did I say something so amusing that they forgot how they treated me in the academy? “So, is this your new way to win my attention? Are you now tired of playing the damsel in distress? No matter what you say… you have no right to interfere in my life.” Seth smirked at me while he tightly clenched my jaw. He is definitely out of his mind. Are we talking in different languages? Why am I not able to understand what he is trying to say to me? I definitely told him to mind his business… When did I try to win his attention? I tried to move him away, but he didn't budge even a little. If he applied a little more strength, my jaw would definitely break. “When exactly did I interfere in your life? If you are talking about threatening your girlfriends, I don't remember such a thing. You could f**k anyone you want. Believe me, I won't give a damn about it.” I replied to him while looking straight into his eyes. I could hear the wincing of my wolf inside my head. Why is she getting sad all of a sudden? There is nobody who is aware that I could hear the voice of my wolf, and I plan to make them continue to misunderstand me. “Oh, you should also stop involving yourself in my life. I am tolerating all of you because of Bella. You can bully me all you want, but it's going to be quite a difficult task to break me.” I was finally able to push him away. Damon was finding all of this amusing. He snapped his fingers and people who were hiding in the shadows came out of the bushes. They immediately took care of the professor's body. “Before today, I found you kind of soulless and boring. I don't remember things that don't have worth. You are making it hard for me to forget yourself, Trinity. I am getting more and more curious about you now.” Damon turned to look at me, and the moment he smiled at me, a chill ran down my spine. Hos smile definitely looked dangerous. “You are scaring her, Brother Damon.” Asher cleared his throat, reminding him that we were still in the middle of the forest. Leah was losing her cool. She could not accept that the famous four were giving their attention to me. It's not like I asked them to show interest in me. “You still didn't answer. What were you doing here with that professor?” Seth sounded pissed. He was barely able to hold back. Why the heck does he care what I was doing with that man? “Stop interfering in my life. I am tired, so I am taking my leave. I will meet you tomorrow, Bella.” I turned to leave, but suddenly someone grabbed me from behind. “Where are you going? I am still not finished. Did you seriously forget your own fiancé, love? You were begging me to reveal our relationship in front of all the students before the holidays, so what happened?” Seth tightly grasped my right arm, and that made me wince in pain. This guy was enjoying seeing me in pain. What? How could someone like him become my chosen mate? Trinity didn't tell me about her engagement to some eccentric guy. Is this some sort of cruel joke of the moon goddess?
