Oakley could not stop pacing , she could practically hear the thud of her rapid beating heart in her ears as stress over took her body. Tears swelled up in her eyes as the phone’s time came every second closer to zero. The repeating beeping sound on the phone indicated to Oakley that the time was up and she would now have results. She quickly read the small box again , two lines pregnant , one line not pregnant. She took in a sharp breath , closing her eyes as she took the pregnancy test in her hand.
