In witching circles, it was a well-documented fact that certain creatures retained specific historic abilities. All manner of Fae learned to change into the form of a human to help them blend in and work their mischief driven by their mercurial natures. That was what made them so damned dangerous and mischievous. It was near impossible to ferret out certain Fae moles disguised as a human. From what Kennedy knew, there was no litmus test to identify a concealed Fae.
Brownies like Rosina were well suited as a house spirit. They used their powers to help and protect the people they encountered and grew to like. They would punish those who were disrespectful. Becoming vengeful if crossed was not unheard of. Even as helpful as her actions were, her motives were unfathomable.
