I Know Everything

'No matter what a woman looks like, if she's confident, she's sexy.' ~Paris Hilton Adonis stood in the middle of the living room, directly in front of the front door. His eyes were the colour of obsidian and his hair looked like it was combed over with his hand numerous times. He wasn't wearing a shirt but he did wear a simple pair of Nike shorts which showed off his v- line. Adonis' body was glistening with sweat showing that he was either exercising or running. "Y- you told me to take her shopping for clothes." Stuttered Dahlia "You left at 9 in the morning and it's already 3 pm. You were gone for 6 f*****g hours and you probably didn't even get anything to eat," argued Adonis. "Can we not argue about this? Adonis, you told Dahlia to take me shopping and if you wanted us to get back here at a certain time then you should've said so in the first place." I took a deep breath in, "and can we please get something to eat? I'm so hungry." Adonis muttered a cursed under his breath and grabbed my arm, leading me away from Dahlia and towards the kitchen. "Are you ok?" I asked watching Adonis frantically searching for ingredients. "Why didn't you tell me that you're hungry sooner?" He asked now turning on the stove. "Umm, I just did." Adonis stopped for a minute and looking at me, sighing, "Amy, I need to look after you. Every time you need something, come to me and I promise I'll get it for you. Do you understand?" I frowned, "Why are you doing this? First of all, you kidnapped me, second of all, you tell Dahlia to take me shopping and third of all you're angry that I didn't tell you that I was hungry in the first place." "Amy-" Adonis started but I quickly cut him off "Since you're so kind, I'll just have my lunch and then go pack my stuff because I'm going home tomorrow if that's alright with you. Wait, why am I even asking this? Obviously, it will be alright." I say rolling my eyes. In a split second, I'm pinned against the wall with to muscular arms. "Don't ever talk or even think about leaving me again" He scowls. "Why?" "Because you're my mate" Adonis states simply still looking incredibly angry. "I don't f*****g know what you mean by mate so don't say it like it's common sense!" I lied, I knew exactly what a mate is but I wanted him to explain it because nothing made sense to me. I thought that as a human, I would never have a mate. "You'll know when the time is right," Adonis says now letting go of me. "No, you either tell me now or I'm leaving for good." I stare dead into Adonis' eyes and I see a flash of fear and guilt on his face before it's gone in a second. "I'll tell you if you promise that you'll never leave me." "Never mind," I say turning around looking for a seat. Adonis grabs my arm, spinning me around and giving me a deadly look. "Fine, I won't leave you," I huff watching as a satisfied smile makes its way onto Adonis' face. I didn't say I promise. "Good," Adonis says already looking worried, "Amy, I-I'm a werewolf." "Alright," I say urging him to continue "Wait you believe me?" Adonis asks, clearly confused, "you're not even gonna pretend to be shocked?" "Please," I raise an eyebrow, "after everything that happened yesterday, this is the least shocking thing that happened to me" "So you know what mates are?" "Yes, they are the soulmates that the Moon Goddess have chosen to pair up. And the Moon Goddess, of course, is who werewolves believe in like how there are humans who believe in one or multiple Gods." "So do you know how packs work?" Adonis asks, really testing me now.  "In every pack, there is an Alpha who is the leader of the pack. Every Alpha has a Luna who is his mate and also the leader of the pack. Next, there is the Beta who is second in command, then there's the Gamma who is third in command and lastly, there are the rest of the pack members. They could be pack warriors who are the pack's fighters, the omegas who don't really have a specific job and there is also pack doctors, cooks etc" "How the hell do you know all this?" Adonis asks. "Online reading and Fanfiction my friend." "What?" "Yeah, I really recommend that you try it out sometime. The only disadvantage there is to it is that the more you read, the more innocence you lose." "I honestly doubt I'm gonna lose something I didn't have in the first place," says Adonis, visibly smirking at me. "Now about that food." I quickly say, changing the subject. ————— After I ate lunch, Adonis went to go take a shower and I went to go find Dahlia who was surprising organising all my clothes by herself. "Hi," I say as she now acknowledges my presence.  "Oh hi! How did things go with Adonis?" Dahlia asked mischievously, "Well we kept it PG if that's what you're wondering and I learnt about your kind" "Really? You don't seem surprised?" "Yeah, I read a lot online" "Oh my Goddess, you too?!" 2 hours later After two hours of bonding over our favourite stories and organising my clothes, it was already 6 pm.  "Let's go eat dinner," Dahlia suggested. We had our dinner and by 7 pm, Dahlia and I went to our own rooms to take a much needed hot bath. It was just what I needed. After all, I need some time to think of an escape plan. It is now 9 pm and I'm currently laying on my bed trying to get some sleep. My plan is to escape at 1 am when people are most likely to be asleep. You see, my original plan was to jump off my balcony but I'm not Spiderman so never mind. So instead, I've decided to use my common sense, and go out from the door. My bags are packed and I'm wearing my escape clothes which really consists of black tracksuit bottoms paired with a black hoodie and black Jordan's. Since I don't exactly know where my house is, I've decided to only bring one bag with a few pairs of new clothes that Dahlia bought me and my necessities. I don't have money on me so I'm gonna have to pack another bag with as much food inside it as possible and I'm going to have to find shelter along the way. A while ago, I set the alarm clock on my bedside table to 1 am so in the meantime I might as well go to sleep. I turn to my side and stare at the window so I can pray to God that my plan will work and then, I close my eyes and welcome the darkness that sets me off to sleep. 1 AM My eyes shoot open as the blaring sound fills my ears. My body leaps to turn off the alarm and I close my eyes tight hoping that no one heard that. I slowly climb out of bed and throw my hair into a ponytail before brushing my teeth and throwing my bag on. I grab a spare bag and head my way to my door. Carefully, I turn the doorknob and tiptoe into the corridor. Everything is dark but the moonlight lightly shines everything, guiding me to where I'm supposed to go. I tiptoe down the stairs and make my way towards the kitchen. I grab a plastic bottle that I found on the kitchen counter, washed it and filled it up with water before chucking it in my bag. Next, I head towards the fridge and open it whilst letting the glorifying smell of food waft over me. Without thinking, I grab whatever my hands landed on and threw it in my bag. God knows how long I'll be on the streets for.  Finally, I grab a piece of paper and pencil and neatly wrote down a farewell letter: Bye, Felicia. I placed the note next to the coffee machine and showed myself the front door. The cold air brushed against my face making me feel grateful that I chose to wear a hoodie. I pulled the sleeves over my hands and ran as fast as I could towards the dark forest that surrounded the large mansion. ————— It has been hours since I left the mansion and I'm still running. Kidding, it's been like, two minutes and my legs feel like spaghetti and my sides are hurting like hell. I slow down to a jogging pace and keep going forward. Hopefully, I'll reach human civilisation soon if I keep going straight ahead but right now, it feels like I've been passing the same tree over and over again.  Deciding that I deserve a break, I go sit down under a nearby tree and take a water break. Unfortunately, running for two minutes straight made me exhausted so sleeping sounds really good at the moment but I know I shouldn't sleep, I can't. I may have not gotten far but at least I'm somewhere! But what's the harm in sleeping for a few minutes? I feel my eyelids grow heavier as I begin to slouch against the tree. Well, there goes my plan, I think to myself as I feel sleep overcome me. ————— As I wake up for the second time today, I see that the moon that was once above me in the night sky was replaced with the bright sun. However, that was not what woke me up, the ear-splitting noise of a wolf howling is what woke me up and immediately, I thought of Adonis. Not today, Satan.  I stood up with my bags and ran as fast as I can. The adrenaline that pumped in my veins didn't subside and it never will until I get to immediate shelter and definitely away from the risk of getting caught. I probably ran for a long time because beads of sweat were starting to drip down my forehead and in the far distance, I could see a large mansion standing proudly by the horizon. It's a large mansion for sure but even from where I'm standing, I can tell that it's not as big as Adonis'. Now, I begin to really push myself. A large mansion means there are people nearby and who knows, maybe they can help me.  However, as I am in the middle of my sprinting, my forehead smashes into someone's chest. Someone's bare chest to be precise. "What the hell are you doing on Alpha Damon's territory?" A bitter voice asks.  I take a large step back and look up at the stranger. He had a set of piercing hazel eyes and a set of short curly hair, looking down, his soft-looking caramel skin shone with sweat which made his muscles look even more toned and defined. He legit looks like a God sent from the other Gods.  "I will not ask again, rogue," the stranger spat out, "what are you doing on my Alpha's territory." "Okay, first of all, I'm not a rogue, I'm a human." I spat back.  "Then why do you smell like a werewolf?" "Because I was kidnapped from a werewolf and I am now trying to escape from him so either you help me out or I swear to God I will kick you in the balls" The stranger eyed me carefully, seeming as if he is trying to determine whether I am lying or not.  "Follow me," he grumbled our, "I will take you to my Alpha." He turned around and started walking in a fast yet calming pace.  "Umm, can we please walk faster?" "This is claimed territory, so unless your kidnapper is part of this pack, he cannot get in." The stranger said emotionlessly making me let out a breath of relief.    Before I knew it, we arrived at the mansion and the stranger kept walking at his fast pace leaving me no choice but to follow him quickly. Soon enough, we arrived at a wooden door which had a golden plaque at the front with bold writing saying 'ALPHA' across it. The stranger knocked three times and a low voice sounded from the other side, "come in." The door opened and the first thing I saw left me in awe. Do all werewolves have to look like Greek Gods?! ~~~
