I was hanging out with Matt, Ethan and their friends. I was feeling out of place though. They were all sitting around drinking, making out, laughing and talking like friends do. I watched as Matt and Ethan were the centres of attention. Matt flirting with some girls…some girls flirting Ethan. One especially…she was trying to cling to him and flirt with him but he never really seemed interested. That never stopped me from feeling self-conscious. I was sitting a little away from the group they had gathered in. You could see they were all close which I liked seeing but it wasn’t making it any easier for me.
