Chapter 24

2034 Words
"Aaah!" Amara groaned panting when her attack of her water ball came back and in the heaviness of it's power kind off attacking herself. She fell her ass into the ground with her hands balancing her body to never lay her whole body. "Amara, you should know how to control this! Whatever was the reason of it, you should learn how to control every inch of your power. Or else, you will be defeated yourself." She gritted her teeth, clenching her fist and tighten her jaw while listening her mother's words. She couldn't do it, she failed at her first, second, third, forth and even her fifth try. She failed, she couldn't separate the fire, air in her water. She grew up practicing her water but she never learned about the fire and the air. She wonder why where the heck that ball came from, who the heck throw that from above and why the hell only her was able to touch nor lay her bare skin to that ball. She couldn't understand why the f*ck it was her of all the Holiesters that are interested to find whatever has fall over that hill. Well, she never told the royals nor even the council about it. She kept it only with Gillian and her mom. Now, she was having a hard time to understand and on how she would be able to get this fire and air from her water. It was strong, strong enough to attack her back. She needs to learn it for her mom was right. She may not had encountered this kind of incident over the book, she haven't read it the book of prophecy, that only means, no one would think that this kind off happening would happen in the world. Every abilities and power that every Holiesters have was been their with them alongside at the time that they were born. "It's strong and heavy," she said panting and catching her breath. "You have to endure it, Amara. We do not know what was that with you, it's better to be safe than sorry, right? We have to make sure that nothing bad is going to happen," Gillian said, she was also helping Amara in her practice and that was also an advantage for Gillian for it helps her getting stronger. Amara nodded and stand up, her mom and Gillian was observing her, making sure that the light of her power won't destruct the entire Holy Kingdom. They were here at the hill where they were practicing at night and this place would be a good direction of visual of the light effect. Gillian was fast enough to make the blowing power of Amara get into invisible so that no one would be able to see it. Because it would just attract other Holiesters to get into this place and that would just bother them at their work. Amara motioned her hand and released her power, she was releasing too much strength separating the elements all her might. However, once again, it just blown up into the air not being separated. Amara sighed, she was tired but she has nothing of an improvement even a little thing. "I don't think I could do it, mom. It was hard," she said catching her breath sitting on the ground. "The night wasn't young anymore, let's just go home. You still have much of time to practice that, Amara. Atleast by now, you know how strong it is, you know how much strength do you need and you could have a time to think about it, on how you should do it," she heard her mom responded. She didn't even bother to looked at her mom for she was really tired. Her body seems like all of a sudden became so drained. It was just a first time that she felt this way, it was just it. She looked at the hand that was extend in front of her, it was Gillian giving her a hand to help her stand. She was panting accepting it and to help herself stand up. She was thinking of searching it at the library. She maybe just missed the chapter of it from the Holiester's book. She needs to understand it, she needs to learn it, she needs to know who to work for it. It was strong like hell and she needs to control this. Who knows what's going to happen when this strength inside her body would attack her from the inside. "Aunt Juliet was right," Gillian said agreeing to her mom's statement. You should atleast have a rest, don't worry, you'll have me in every step of the way. "However, Auntie, she should learn how to control this as soon as possible, there was this certain creature thay attacked the Holy University." Her mom who was about to her to bring her back home, stopped after hearing what just Gillian said. She wasn't able to tell her mother about it for she was thinking all this time what just happened. Why would Prince Stanley act like that? He didn't take his eyes out her even during the time that they were exchanging powers with that creature. There was something behind his stare. It wasn't something of a stare that would make her feel some chill over body like how the Prince sometimes look at her. It was all different. Especially, when she was able to mix her water of a power to it's fire and ice. Hailey wanted to kill her right at that moment, Camille would surely help Hailey to do so, while Kean, he didn't give any emotion about it. However, she was certain that Kean was mad everytime other royals gave an attention to her for other Holiesters would be brought back to the fact that she was his brother and that he was only a half royal. "What creature?" her mom asked with so much curiousity in her voice. "The Director and the council didn't inform yet for they ended the class right after those invader disappeared. But they looks like something of a creature that ----" "They looks like a demons," Amara butt in, cutting Gillian's explanation off. Her mom looked at her and Gillian as well with such a widened eyes. She even heard her mom gasped with that information. "Demons? Do they have red eyes? All black cloak?" her mom asked like clarifying things about what just happened. She and Gillian nodded in unison that even made her mom gasped to bring her hand covered in her mouth in shockness. "Holy Goodness! Is their anyone hurt?" her mom asked in worried tone. "No one got hurt, Aunt Juliet, but those invaders was threatening and was informing everyone that the Queen has risen and was going to conquer the Holy Land once again," Gillian responded. In just a blink of an eye, the three of them already here inside their house and her mom was kind off panicking thinking that it might really be a demons. Demons were heartless, they would kill no mercy to those who are going to oppose them. "I wonder what would the King and Queen, especially the Queen is going to do about it. They once defeated the Queen of hell but the prophecy said that once the Queen of darkness would be able to rise again from the dead, a certain life should be sacrificed in order to defeat the darkness and bring back the light in all over the Holy Land," her mom said that made her want to hear more about the prophecy. Although, she have read it already it would be different if she was hearing it from the tongue of somebody and not just making some scene of imagination through her mind because of what she just read. "Aunt Juliet, Amara, I'm going home now. I was so worried about grandma," Gillian said that made Amara looked at her best friend. She nodded and she was about to move to bring Gillian home through her ability of teleporting, however, because of being drained of a strength, she suddenly almost fell of her own legs. "Sorry," she apologized but Gillian just shaking her head telling her it was all fine. "Amara, you should get some rest. It's almost Dawn, you have to get your strength back for you would still be able to go to the Holy University. Outside of the University was the most dangerous place of Holy Land, Amara, Gillian, you two really should stay at the Holy University's dorm," she heard her mom said and she nodded. She was thinking the same as well, however, if she is going to do that, she would be a heartless of a daughter leaving her mom and Gillian's grandma outside knowing that it was dangerous. Those who are leaving inside the Palace, they were at the safe place, well, no one would be able to know which part of the Holy Land is safe when the enemies have arrived. No one could tell, when they even arrived. She looked at Gillian and Gillian was giving her a questioning look, she simply gave her best friend a tiny shook of her head. She and Gillian already talked about the reason why they are not going to leave at the university's dorm. Although the demons or other creature has nothing to do with their reason, the reason was still on. "Aunt Juliet, you don't need to bring me home. I can help myself, I can go home by myself," Gillian said smiling at Amara's mom. "Gillian ---" "I can be invisible in the middle of the dark, Aunt Juliet, Amara. You have nothing to worry about me. Amara, you can actually just look at me while I was on my way home. That would be better, you don't have to go out Auntie," Gillian interrupted and insisted to go home by herself. "Alright," Amara said for she know even if her mom would be insisting to come along with Gillian, Gillian would still insist to never come. Her mom was tired as well for she walked all the way to the lowest class small town to bring foods for them. And jsut suddenly showed up uphill when she wasn't found at home. Gillian immediately get invisible and she was looking at her best friend going out from their house walking towards their home, she didn't take her ability of eyes away from Gillian until she saw her get inside into their home. She gave a glanced to her mom and saw her sleeping at peace. Amara smiled bitterly thinking that her mom might be so tired all through out the day. Until now, she couldn't believe the reason of her mother to never use her teleportation ability to get into that small town in just a blink of an eye. She gave a peck kiss on her mother's forehead before she moved and lay her body on the bed and closed her eyes. However, she suddenly opened her eyes blinking a lot when the moment she closed them, she saw the serious face of that certain Prince Stanley. Why would she see him at closed eyes. Amara get up and went downstairs to get some water and drink. She couldn't understand why these past few day, that Prince was invading her mind all of a sudden. She didn't like it being bothered with something she do not know what that means. She really needs to understand what was just going on her, she needs to get rid off Prince Stanley from her mind. Hailey was so ready to kill her even though she was doing nothing and she was even had no idea why all of a sudden, the Prince called her and got her attention. Lady Penelope was also putting her at the frontline, royalties are going to going to get rid off of her when Prince Stanley would keep getting her attention nor giving her attention. Royals hate the fact that their friends of a royal showing even a bit of attention to the lower classes. And that, Prince Stanley would be a reason of her downfall.
