I had just slipped on a long sleeve cappuccino rose silk dress, when I heard a knock at the door. I looked at the time and it was going on to ten. I hoped it was the person I was expecting. Walking over to the door, I opened it and immediately a smile grew on my face. In the doorway stood my fated mate, Alpha Leo.
"Evening Queen Alice," he sounded happy but didn’t show it on his face. "It was nice to see you again, I can't wait for you to visit my pack. I will be leaving early in the morning so I thought I'd say my fare well now." He reached for my hand. I was confused.
