Harris' POV
While I was sending scouts to the Vampire Continent to find out about Katrina, I decided to visit the Alpha King and tell him all about it.
I tried to make an appointment with him several times, but he wasn't available. On this day, I finally got a chance. I had fifteen minutes.
I said anxiously, "Respected Alpha King, Vernus is Stephen, the Vampire Prince. He is the Vampire King!"
"Harris, I know you've been trying to find Katrina since she disappeared, and I even heard that you've sent scouts to the Vampire Continent on my orders, right?"
I didn't know why the Alpha King said that. I had the authority to send out the scouts from my pack. But I didn't want to argue with him about this at all right now.
I had a feeling that he was deliberately changing the subject.
