Carter and I were practically indestructible, we were slaying the rogues one after another.
After a while, I noticed a continuous whistle and paid attention to hear that it was coming from the direction of the car.
I suddenly realised something might be wrong and ran back to see an empty seat.
“Alex, where's Katrina?” I asked anxiously.
“She followed Peter to rescue some pups that were attacked at the school” he said casually pointing towards the east.
“They’ve been away for a while, so I decided to horn at you. I knew you’d understand.”
“That’s good Alex, you did well, continue to keep guard of the car, Carter and I will follow them” I Started walking towards the forest where he pointed
Carter naturally knew what to do by following me. He soon took over because he had
