Chapter 18:
Several steps into the tunnel, Helena’s feet lost contact with the slime-covered floor, and she needed to start swimming. There were no waves in this section other than what she created with the motion of her body.
Not the strongest of swimmers, she did her best to keep from running her head through the gray slime that draped from the gap her head fit in. When she escaped this hell, she might cut off all her hair and burn her clothes. She refused to think what manner of disgusting substances this trip forced her to crawl through.
