Chapter 11“Hey, Anson,” Caroline greeted cheerfully as soon as she entered the teahouse. Anson walked out from behind the counter and briskly made his way toward Caroline. Then he and Caroline hugged each other tightly, and neither of them let go for several seconds. “Hey, stranger.” Caroline pulled back slightly while chortling. “Sorry. I was so busy with work that we didn’t get to meet up for days.” “I forgive you. Thanks for coming to see me.” Caroline nodded while gazing into Anson’s eyes. “Is something the matter? Perhaps something urgent? You sounded odd over the phone this morning.” Anson bit back a sigh. “Let’s talk behind the counter. We can eat and chat at the same time. I’ve prepared your favorite sandwiches and a pot of chrysanthemum tea to share.” Caroline’s eyes lit up
