Zadok strutted towards us, his eyes alarmed and wide with panic. “Josephine what’s going _” He tried to walk past Nate and Hide, but they grabbed his shoulder and pushed him back. Zadok turned red with fury. “What the f**k man?! Touch me one more time, and you’ll be in a more critical situation than my brother.”
“You have a nerve showing up here after what you did.” Nate hissed. “The only reason I’m not pulling a gun at you right now is because these goddamn cameras are watching and recording us. Get out of here before I change my f*****g mind.”
Although confused, Zadok didn’t take his words lightly. “How about you keep talking, let’s see who gets to pull the trigger first.” His eyes met mine. “What’s going on Josephine?”
