I felt like going to Claire wouldn't be the greatest idea after yesterday's multiple rejections, but I really needed to talk to her about what she had done and we needed to find a way to fix it. I knew that I wasn't going to be able to do anything without her at least tolerating my presence, but I also knew that I had the advantage of the mate bond, even if she didn't feel anything she had to be at least more affected by me and my presence, right?
I sigh as I go downstairs early in the morning, hoping to meet up with Claire in the kitchen as she needs to go down to eat or at least pass through here to be able to go outside.
