“THAT WAS EASY,” KRISTA gave a little laugh that she put down to nerves. The thought crossed her mind that he could be a spy. If so, the American government would question her to death to see if the stranger had revealed any top-secret information they might find useful. “I was outside last night and saw something crashing to the ground.” She opened the kit and extracted the items she would need to clean his wound. Now that he was awake, she was certain the antiseptic would hurt like hell.
