Focusing her attention on getting them both back to the cabin, she pushed the grisly thought away. Later she would have time to think about all the strange things she had been witness to this evening, but for now she had to concentrate on getting this man to a hospital.
After what seemed like an hour later, the cabin was at last in sight. Krista had to congratulate her mystery man on making it this far in his condition. She was beat. He weighed a ton. All she wanted to do was sit and catch her breath, but she still had to get him into the Jeep and drive him to town.
