“LET’S TAKE A WALK OUTSIDE,” Krista suggested late in the afternoon. All day long JT had worked on repairing his communicator, but it was trashed. She knew he had to be feeling upset; she just wished he’d show it. Instead, he’d calmly laid the item on the table, looked at it and said, “It is irreparable.” If that had been her only link to her world, she would have been scared witless.
