Chapter 12 Savannah and Fiona walked in the middle of the group as they headed to her father’s camp. Her father’s men and Charlie’s had set up a wall around them to keep them safe in the middle. Savannah thought it was a bit too much and not necessary, but everyone disagreed with her, so she let it go. She told herself it was to keep Fiona safe. For once she wasn’t running to her brother’s side. Their little talk must have helped Fiona gain back some of her independence. Joaquín didn’t look thrilled not keeping his sister close to protect but didn’t comment. He actually thanked her for keeping his sister safe.
