Chapter 4
Bennett eased slowly through the jungle listening for any signs of the militia said to have been spotted here. Intel put the army in the area, but so far, they hadn’t seen anything. He was starting to wonder if they had bad intel. They had been walking through the jungle for almost two days without seeing a single person.
Bennett took a cursory glance at Tony. The man was holding up better than Bennett thought he would. He wouldn’t tell the team if this was the area his team had been attacked and no one expected him to. The team kept a close eye on him in case of a relapse but so far, he was doing fine. Tony had been tense since they arrived but he hadn’t said a word nor had anyone heard of him having a nightmare or a flashback.
