Pythia found Aphaia waiting for her in her bedroom.
As the lady’s maid took off her gown and she put on a pretty night gown, she realised that she was feeling physically exhausted.
But she admitted too that she was excited by all that had taken place today.
When Aphaia had gone and she was alone, Pythia whispered to her father,
‘I have helped Vultarnia, Papa. And now the King will be interested in ruling over his people and we will make this the happiest Kingdom in the whole of the Balkans.”
She felt that she could see her father smiling at her and hear his laughter as if he was delighted at what she had done.
Then she fell asleep as head touched the pillow.
