I was dumbfounded as I saw Pearl going out of the living room. It felt like deja vu, only the table had turned.
I seriously didn't know how to react at that. Was I wrong all this time or was she lying? A person who was a cheater can also be liar, right? But why did it feel like she was telling the truth? Ugh, so frustrating.
I was thinking of all the ifs and buts when I felt my phone beeping to let me know that I got a message. The sender's name made me break out in a laugh which was dipped with sarcasm.
Natalie : babe, we never went to the date. What about this Saturday?
I felt like ripping all my hair out of their roots. On one hand, my wife had locked herself in the bedroom and on other, my girlfriend was planning a romantic getaway. My life really sucks.
