After our picnic, Luca took me home. He had a dinner meeting he couldn't miss. When I walked into the condo, my mind was still buzzing from all the kissing we did. Our first kiss was like fireworks. After that, we made out several more times. Those were more like bonfires. I walked into the living area and sat down next to Veronica on the couch. She was eating popcorn and watching Liar Liar. Her favorite movie.
“Where were you? I thought you got out early today.” She kept stuffing more popcorn in her mouth. “Luca took me on a picnic.” I was smiling like an i***t. “Really?” She eyed me up and down. “He seems to be smitten by you.” She teased. “I don't know what that means but he did ask me to be his girlfriend.” I’m sure I was still smiling like an i***t.
