I've been away from my family and business far too long. I'm flying back and forth but I'm mainly staying in LA to keep an eye on Cat. Mercedes and the Keller’s are still out there, and I'm scared to leave her. I want her to come with me but I'm not sure she will agree. If she didn't have that boyfriend that's always sniffing around, she might have agreed but they seemed to be getting serious. The fucker even took her on a weekend trip. I had to bite my tongue to stop me from forbidding her to go. Who am I to forbid her? An uncle who failed her, who stood idly by while his brother and his best friend the "investigator" twiddled their thumbs. I'm lost in my head trying to figure out how to get her to come with me that I don’t notice when Veronica speaks through the intercom.
