After I was done eating, I went straight over to Victoria’s hair salon. This was the largest outlet, the one that she operated her business out of. The massage parlor happened to be very nearby. The moment I got there, I went straight to her office.
When I got to the office, I did not stop to knock and walked right in. Since I knew I was going to have my ego smeared across the pavement, I did not bother being polite. The moment I entered the office, I saw Victoria working at her desk.
