Chapter Ten
Her heart was beating loudly in her chest, it called to my beast. That and the heavy scent of her arousal mixed with a heat that I was ready for. My mate may not know it, but she was ovulating. I hadn’t realized it when we were at the bar, but on the way over here I caught the signs.
The warm temperature of her hand in mine. The soft sweetness to her scent that was there just beneath her arousal. It lined up with the mating cycle meant for dragons and other shifters. I knew that it was because she always meant to be mine. This just helped prove it to me.
