Jake’s POV
I was sitting in my study room going through some documents when my phone rings.
It’s Sophia’s number but I wonder if it’s Amelia or Sophia calling this time.
I had been itching to call but I didn’t want to seem like I was disturbing and so I tried to get myself occupied with work instead.
I immediately pick up the call.
“Hello daddy,” Amelia says.
“Hi, my angel. How are you?” I say.
“I am fine daddy. Mummy told me that you are her new boss now and I was really surprised to hear about it. I am so happy,” Amelia says.
“Yes, my angel. Your mum now works with me,” I reaffirmed.
I was happy that Sophia finally told her. I had wondered if she wanted to keep it as a secret.
“So that means you get to see each other everyday at work right?” She says.
“Yes.. I guess so,” I rep
