Vincent POV :
Ring.. Ring.. Ring..
Incoming call, Stupid sister
I notice Brianna chuckle silently when the Bluetooth announce the caller ID on speaker while I just grin and shrug my shoulder when I meet her amuse gaze.
"What is it now?" I greet her after push the answer button, still annoy about her lies about picking up a friend which turn into Brianna.
'Brianna, are you there?' She ignore me and just speak toward her friend.
"Hey, Charlotte" She replied with a small smile and I didn't realize that I stare at her for a second before turn my gaze back to the road.
D*mn, she looks more beautiful than I remember.
'I'm glad my stupid brother didn't leave you on the Airport and decided to pick you' She sigh loudly and I just roll my eyes.
Did she thinks I am that low?
Stupid sister..
"What do you want, Charlotte? You speak like I'm not here and can’t hear you?" I speak dryly and shook my head in disbelief for how she speak about me toward Brianna.
'Mom asked if you can pick the cake from the sweets?'
I raise my eyebrow.
What?!!
"What cake?" I groan and quickly turn the wheel to go to the stupid store after the next red light.
'For welcoming Briana, of course' She said with an are-you-stupid tone and I'm pretty sure she roll her eyes right now while speaking.
I sighed in defeated "Yeah, yeah" was my quick reply before hung the phone.
"Sorry, Vincent" Briana murmur.
I meet Briana eyes and hold her hand on her lap.
"No problem" I wink and happy to see the blush still coming to her face whenever I do something like this to her.
Brunette hair, gray black eyes, a tight jeans and simple loose shirt, she looks gorgeous. Even though as long as I remember she always have a special feature since I know her.
"We're here" I said and she turn her head to look at the store from the window before unbuckled her seat belt and walk out from my car.
I notice my bodyguard parked behind us before slowly I stood beside her and put my hand on her back before we start moving together.
I Know her dark past which make me had this protectiveness toward her, Briana presence always make me become different man.
I don't want to hurt her because she had horrible past and I don't know why that I always want her to keep staring at me with her pretty eyes like I am important.
I don't know why I always had this weird feeling to her.
I guess she's like a sister beside Charlotte which explain the protective way I had toward her.
"Brianna?"
We turn our head and I quickly raise an eyebrow when a guy with a black hat smiling to Brianna before he stand in front of her like he just got an early birthday present.
What the f**k?
"Fox? Hi" I turn my gaze back to Briana when she shouts his name with the same eagerness before run to where he stand.
O..kay??
"What are you doing in Italy?" He ask before give her a kiss on her cheek.
What?!!!
That can’t happen, not when I am here!!
I quickly walk to where they stand before put my hand back to her waist in protective way.
"Brianna?" I called and made her turn her gaze from the guy to me for a second like she just remember I was here with her.
"Oh, Vincent" She look taken-aback before turn her gaze back to the guy "Fox, this is Vincent. Vin, this is Gregory Fox, my senior in university" She introduce us with a warm smile form on her. The guy give me his hand to shake with a question in his eyes when he notice my tense and protective gesture to Brianna.
We shakes hand and I nod "Good to meet you, fox" I grasp his hand tightly and happy when saw him flinch for a second.
"Hi, likewise, Vincent" He said lamely.
"Brianna, we should hurry" I interject without taking any more time here to Brianna who nod understands.
"Sorry Fox, we had family matters so.."
"He's family?" He interrupt happily which make me narrow my eyes in anger to see his reaction.
Prick.
"Are you serious with that question?!" I cut him rudely, trying to hold my sudden anger and he smart enough to shook his head before leaving as fast as he can.
I almost lose my anger to a stupid guy who think he can flirt with Brianna in front of me?!
Like hell, I'll allow a stupid guy with a great woman like her!
I frown when saw Brianna raise her eyebrow after the guy leaving.
"What?!!"
"Is it necessary? Fright him like that?" She scowl and hit my chest playfully before shook her head and start walking to the cake store "Stupid Vincent, act like a scary big brother" She scowl while walking away.
Big brother?
What the hell am doing back there?
Why this anger?
I take a deep breath before stroke my hair and start walking to the store to follow her.

Brianna POV:
I know what Charlotte doing right now.
Trying to not groan in front of Vincent is hard.
Charlotte know that I had this thought about her brother and because of that she always had hope both of us will be end together as a couple. But what she forgot is that we both know what type of woman Vincent always date.
He likes blonde who has killer body while I am just.. well.. plain me.
A broken woman who get lucky to be rescued by an amazing family like Brancaccio who treat me like another daughter.
I know Vincent is like Aiden who loves their family and always protect the woman in the family. That's why Charlotte mention since I am one of the family, they'll get protective to me too which touch me since I have no one in the world now. But never saw how protective he is until I notice how angry Vincent when he see Fox and I notice how tight he grasp Fox's hand until the guy flinch because of it.
I know I shouldn't felt anything for how Vincent act to Fox but I can't help to feel my heart beating faster.
He acted like he is.. Jealous?
But no, he can’t be...
"Brianna, we should hurry" I hear him speak and I quickly nod my head.
"Sorry Fox, we had family matters so.."
"He's family?" Fox cut me and look really happy.
"Are you serious with that question?!!" I frown when Vincent look more than angry after Fox outburst which almost make me chuckle, almost.
I keep looking at him when Fox said his goodbye and he raise his eyebrow when he notice me staring.
"What?!"
"Is it necessary? Fright him like that?" I scowl and hit his hard chest playfully and feel the great abs on my hand so I quickly shook my head and start walking to the cake store. "Stupid Vincent, acted like a scary big brother" I pretend to keep angry while walking but the truth is I can't stop the tingle after I touch his chest.
But, I can't have this thought...
It supposed to be gone a while ago, my crush feeling to him
Vincent only act like a big brother so I shouldn't have any other thought.
But deep down I do hope that he really care like how I care to him.

"So?" Charlotte wiggle her eyebrow and make me choke on the hot chocolate I drink.
"What's with the face?!"
She push my shoulder playfully "Don't what me, young lady, tell me what happen while both of you alone?" She demand while I just shrug my shoulder.
"Nothing happened"
She rolled her eyes "C'mon, Bree. My mother and I knew you and my stupid brother had a thing" She groan and I just laughed.
"Look at him, Charlotte" I point to the man who, now, have a woman in his hand talking seriously with her "A womanizer who love a blonde and a killer body won't take a look on me" I explain and Charlotte just snorted in un-lady like.
"Please, that bimbo will need to face me if she wants him" She scoffs.
I laugh before shook my head.
"Enough about him, how's my baby? Did you know what will you get?" I quickly change the subject and ask her.
She squeals and shrug "Not telling"
I just laugh with a shook head before give her another congratulate hugs.
"A new toys!" I exclaims happily.
When I look up I try to not blush when I notice Vincent keep stare at my direction with intense gaze.
Oh God, I hope I can hold my feeling to him.
We all know he just looking at me as a little sister.
And after this time how come he looks better. Still handsome but in a mature ways.
I just hope I can hold my heart and didn't throw myself to him.
