Layla was going through one of life's biggest scares and didn't even know whether or not she should call Kate to tell her about the accident.
Kate was Bradley's mother, she had every right to know what had happened. However, Layla was afraid to talk to Kate and tell her what had happened. Kate tended to use her words like a double-edged dagger.
Layla picked up the phone and hesitated a bit, until her mind was refreshed by the image of Kevin.
She had Bradley's assistant's number saved. Maybe it would be better to call Kevin and have him inform Kate. For Layla it was a fantastic idea.
Layla immediately dialed Kevin's number, but when she picked up the phone, Kevin was very confused.
—Hello?— asked Kevin extremely.
