Chapter 2Jamie quit work two weeks after Paul’s funeral. He couldn’t stand being so close to where his fiancé had died such a horrible death. At first, he had tried finding another job, but his heart wasn’t in it. He had enough money, thanks to what Paul had left him in his will, to remain unemployed for quite a long while. The money came from a trust fund that Paul’s grandfather, who had been fairly wealthy, had set up for him. Thankfully, Paul’s parents hadn’t tried to keep it from going to Jamie.
