I awoke to the scent of flowers and the sea. I looked to my right to see Serenity nestled under my arm sound asleep. Her hair was fanned out over the pillow and soft little snores were coming from her plump lips. She was perfect. I gently tucked a lock of her flaming red hair behind her ear, causing her to stir slightly before settling down. She marked me. Holy f*****g s**t! She marked me! I carefully disentangled myself from her small little body and raced off into the bathroom. I leaned my head to the side to study my mark.
