Weeks had passed, and we continued to be attacked by rogues. We were lucky in a lot of ways though. We got a call from King Giovanni. Somehow, he had gotten wind of our situation and offered up his soldiers to help aid in our plight. The next day, Addy, Gio, and her new mate, Hazel, had arrived in our pack with thirty-six vampire soldiers. Gio had assured us that these warriors had been training for hundreds of years.
A few days later, Alpha Beau had arrived with a Fae and an entire platoon of soldiers. When you added them to our own, we were prepared for whatever the rogues threw at us.
