Chapter Four Donovan Later the following afternoon, I leaned against one of the trucks at the station and tossed a rag into a bucket on the floor. “Well, that should be it for today,” I commented, glancing at Jesse who was leaning against the wall in the garage, guzzling a bottle of water. A voice called over from the other side of the truck. “I don’t know, Donovan, did you check the bearings over here?” The voice in question belonged to Emily Lane.
