Chapter 1 "Let's go already," I heard Aubrey screaming from down, I immediately ran down to see Aubrey and Rosie standing together. "I am sorry I was just fixing my hair," I apologized to keep them hanging for so long. "Evelyn you know that you don't need to apologize for that." Rosie exclaimed, I nodded and walked out with them. "So where are we going?" I asked them. "To a club that's far from this place." Aubrey said, she started to drive away from the house. I have my parents but at the moment they are gone for some trip, they left Aubrey and Rosie in charge of me. The people who knew me the most, I don't have to be shy near them. My parents would be back by tomorrow, it has been a week since they were gone. I looked down to see my dress, I was wearing a loose black shirt and some denim jeans. I have a very bad taste in everything, Rosie says it will get better as I grow older. I have brown hair and gray eyes, I have pale skin tone. I don't have any curves, I don't even have anything on my body. Everyone says I am to skinny and boring that's why I don't talk to anyone. But I love going to school, I wish I could go there rest of my life. I don't have many friends but I still love the teachers and the staff. "Why do I think this is the wrong direction," I was pulled out of my thoughts when Rosie spoke up, I looked forward to see Rosie holding a mobile in her hand. It was telling the route to the club. I had never went to a club or drank anything in my life. "Where is it then." Aubrey panicked as she took the left turn, fear started to build in me. Its night 10 o clock and many things happen at night. Aubrey drove the car through a place where there was no one, only darkness and some big trees. I don't like dark, I immediately switched the light of the car. "Evelyn nothing will happen, take left aubrey." Rosie exclaimed. "But everything is dark, why is it dark." I said as I looked at my reflection. "Rosie there is nothing here." Aubrey exclaimed and suddenly the car stopped, I gasped and moved around the car. "What happened to the car?" Rosie said, aubrey immediately went outside and pulled the car gear up. I looked at her with curiosity, I want to go home. Why do I think something bad really bad will happen if we stay here a second more. "What is it?" Rosie asked Aubrey, she came back to the car and sat. She placed her hand on the steering wheel and looked at me. "The car engine is dead," she exclaimed. "What?" Rosie screamed, as she pulled her mobile out. "They are no connections." She exclaimed as she threw it back somewhere. "Please, I want to go home." I whispered as the fear in me grew every second. "Calm down Evelyn, we will find some way out and don't worry you will be safe." Aubrey said hugging me. "Let's go out." Rosie exclaimed as she opened the door. "No, no not out please I don't like woods." I cried. "Nothing will happen believe in us, we have to walk a little distance to see if anyone lives near by." Aubrey said as she pulled me out, the cold wind hit my body as I hugged her. "Evelyn, nothing will happen no come on let's go." Rosie said as she took my hand. "I feel scared." "We will protect you if anything happens." Aubrey took my other hand and walked towards the woods. What if they are foxes or lions or much worst vampire. Vampires took most of the world few years ago, I still remember my grand mom screaming me to run from them, she sadly died in the war. Vampires had owned most of the land, we humans only live in a small town to place to keep ourselves alive. Most of the girls are auctioned as slaves to vampires, my parents had paid my price to the market so I won't be sold to anyone but I have to still do blood donation every month. The royal vampires don't have to follow any of the rules, most of the land is owned by them and their kind. If a human goes in their land they decide what to do with them.
