Emma’s POV: Heart pounding, I stared into the golden eyes that had been haunting my mind for days. Matteo was giving me an expectant look, amusement playing at the edges of his full lips, no doubt waiting for me to scream, try to push him back. I contemplated my options quickly, and there weren't many. There was no way I'd be able to get him to leave if he didn't want to. He didn't come to f*****g Virginia to let me slam a door in his face.
