SEGREGATION Morgan watched over her Ange’el. Sage had told Morgan that Gabriel was going to be kept sedated to allow his body to heal. He had seemed overexcited and anxious for the well-being and welfare of Morgan, so Viviane and Sage had decided to force him to take a rest. They left little drops of calming oil between his mouth and nose just after he had something to eat or drink. In a few seconds, he was sleeping peacefully. Quinn stopped by the pavilion, offering to show Morgan the Ahe’ey grounds. “Wanna join me? I’m off to Yi’ingo,” Quinn whispered. “I’d love to visit Yi . . .” Morgan was struggling to remember the name of the place. She kissed Gabriel’s forehead and left the room with Quinn. “Yi’ingo. Sky should be training her novice warriors today. I hope to be one next year.”
