I woke up with my cell phone ringing all over my room. She opened her eyes and looked at the ceiling for a few seconds before turning around and turning off the alarm.
I sighed, put my hand over my face, and stood up.

My head said it was right, that I should go, that I had to do it because it had been three months now, three months in which I had not had any news about Alison, how she was, how she wasn’t, what she was doing and with whom.
Very likely Alison had found someone, for that reason she had not looked for me and it was useless to waste time behind her, wait you did not even know how much time, always in case she came back.
