I parked the car in front of Josie’s house, turned off the engine, and waited.
Josie and I have been seeing each other for a month now as friends. We’d go out almost every day, we’d gone to the 4th of July party, and we’d had a fling at the beach.
Even though we saw each other every day, nothing happened between us. The most intense thing we had done was some rubbing here and there, but we had never even kissed, not that she hadn’t tried, I just couldn’t.
