Liam I woke up with a jolt of thunder so loud that it made the living room windows shake. I stretched and opened my eyes, finding myself in total darkness. I blindly searched for my phone and looked at the time, it was four in the morning. I sigh, pull the covers off the sofa bed, and then sit and look around. I had been in Germany for a week, a week when I had quietly tried to get close to Megan. I gave her space to prove that I was still there for her and that I wouldn’t leave.
