Roselyn slowly rolled around on the bed, putting her hands on the surface of a hard-built chest. She groaned, before her eyes could drift open.
Taking in the slender masculine figure in front of her, Roselyn would have shouted at the top of her voice, but the man she was in bed with was no small man.
It was Zack Murphy, CEO of Elite Tech group. One of the famous Multibillionaires in the city. How did it happen that she was in the same bed as him?
‘Ggghhgg..God, please tell me it didn’t happen’ Roselyn screamed in her head, as she bit her lower lips, at the same time, looking at the sleeping demon in front of her.
At that moment, she wanted to leave and not turn back. So, she slowly slides out of bed not to wake him up.
Appearing at the edge of the bed, she only wore her panties and bra on. She ran to her dress and then she exited the room in a rush.
After the door closed shut, a smile appeared at the edge of Zack Murphy's lips, again with a brief grunt.
His eyes went wide open and he turned to the desk beside the mattress, and picked up his cellphone.
“Get in here, ASAP.” Zack sounded harsh over the telephone.
quickly after, a person in black in shape and blazer.Andrew stood in the doorway, his expression one of suspicion.
"Are you OK, sir?" he asked, his voice asked. "You do not look very sober. Should we get you a tumbler of water?"
Zack shook his head. "I'm great," he stated, his voice sharp. "I don't want water. I need you to do something for me."
Andrew's eyebrows furrowed, his gaze centered on Zack. "whatever, sir," he said.
Zack surpassed his cellphone to Andrew, his expression critical. "I want you to get the history and records of this female," he said, pointing at the photograph at the display screen. "that is Roselyn."
Andrew took the cellphone, his eyes flicking between Zack and the photo. "may I ask why?" he said, his tone cautiously impartial.
Zack's jaw tensed, his eyes darkened. "because I slept with her," he stated, his voice low.
Andrew's eyes went wide, his mouth falling open in shock. Then, he speedy glanced around the room, checking the door, before returning his gaze to Zack.
"I'm sorry, what?" he stated, his voice slightly above a whisper. "How did this happen? And why?"
Zack leaned back against the wall, letting out a deep breath. "I... I don't know," he said, his voice hard.
"It became the result of the toxin," Zack stated, his voice nonetheless tough. "However, I just... I don't understand. Why was I immune to her contact?"
Andrew's eyes widened. "Did you forget about who you're?" he asked, his tone incredulous. "You are the CEO of one of the most powerful tech companies . You're no longer supposed to be snoozing simply with anybody."
"but is not that an amazing thing?" Zack asked, his voice wavering. "It means i am no longer like everybody else.”
"It's not the same aspect, sir," Andrew said, his voice firm. "And what has gotten into you? Why are you speaking like this? It really is absolutely unacceptable, and it is in opposition to everything we stand for."
"I understand, I understand," Zack stated, his voice tight. "I simply need to fix this. I'll make amends, I promise. I simply need to make sure she can not tell anybody."
"how are you going to do this?" Andrew asked, his eyes narrowing. "Are you suggesting we threaten her? That is blackmail, it's unlawful.”
"loosen up," Zack stated, his voice developing calmer. "I am not suggesting something illegal. I just need to know more about her. Then we are able to sign an agreement with her, to make sure she does not communicate with anybody about what has occurred."
Andrew nonetheless looked skeptical, but he nodded slowly. "I'll get on that way properly, sir," he stated. "but I still think we ought to speak to an attorney about this. I am worried you're now not thinking clearly."
Zack sighed, leaning his head and returned in opposition to the wall. "Excellent," he said.
Roselyn ran via the sanatorium doorways, her breath coming in gasps.
The waiting room turned into crowded, people of all ages and backgrounds sitting in chairs, a number of them looking sick or injured. A television was set up at the wall, showing the news.
A worn-out-searching receptionist sat at the back of a desk, a pc in front of her. A sign on the wall said "sign up for remedy."
Roselyn stood in front of the desk, trying to trap her breath. The receptionist looked up at her, her expression considered one of infection.
"Can I help you?" she asked.
"I'm sorry," Roselyn said, her voice shaky. "I'm right here to see my father, he's in room 302."
The receptionist checked her out with a thinking expression, her eyes narrowing.
"Are you positive you recognize his room range?" she asked. "I don't want to give out the affected person's information to the incorrect character."
"Yes, I am positive," Roselyn said, her voice growing more potent. "Please, I want to see him."
The receptionist set free a sigh, and nodded. "all right, i will let you know where to go," she stated.
Roselyn accompanied the receptionist's guidelines, making her way to room 302. She opened the door, her heart in her throat.
She noticed her father lying on the mattress, immobile. His eyes were closed, his pores and skin light and drawn. Roselyn stood there for a second, not able to move, not able to respire.
Sooner or later, she crossed the room and sat down beside him. She took his hand in hers, her eyes filling with tears.
"Oh, Daddy," she said, her voice breaking.
Roselyn took a deep breath, looking to hold herself from sobbing. "Daddy, I want to tell you something," she stated, her voice trembling. "I... I did something absolutely stupid."
She took another breath, her tears flowing freely now. "I... I slept with the CEO. I understand, it was a horrible thing to do, but... I don't know what to do now."
She sat there, her head
bowed, her father's hand in hers. The room changed into silent, saving for her soft sobs.
